Sums up of my 7months in Bali
This is the photo of me while I am making this post |
Whoaa what a journey, it's October now, 7 months left already and this month is my 8th months in Bali.
During my stay here, there are a lot of life lessons that I got, and new friends too. Please don't ask about my job here (a little bit sucks in some aspects, but I am grateful tho).
So, what happened during my 7 months here, I will highlight some of them.
- Working as a doctor in chiro clinic is EASY AF!! (you talk about work, duh), even I downgraded my main title as a physiotherapist in this clinic, rarely to make a prescription, but it's fine for me. WHat really important and valuable for me is my time with the patients here. 90% of my patients are expats, I like working with them and during the treatment by me I had a lot of conversations with them, talking about their backgrounds, story of their life and their pain. Each of them has different stories, life goals, and the pain they had. Some of them maybe not fit enough with my clinic's treatment but I tried to make a contact with them and maintain good relationship with them, turned out they became my business partner here.
- I also working voluntarily in Trash Heroes Canggu, where I met a lot of nice people who care about nature, especially beach and river, I worked with them since my first month came to Bali, it's nice to have a community that really care with earth. I've seen so many trashes in the beaches, and that's not cool brah! jUst 2 days ago before I wrote this post, my ex-patient invited me to join her morning walk in the beach and we found a baby turtle that going back to the sea, it's so relieving to help the baby turtle back to the sea. For now I am unofficialy invited to join the charity community called Prasad Kitchen, a community coordinated by my patient (again) lovely couple and their daughter from UK, community that doing charity to help unfortunate people who struggle to eat, so we gave them nasi bungkus (rice wrapped in a paper with the vegetables and meat) for free, so nice also when we can help them, in the last 2/3 months we didn't distribute that nasi bungkus again because of lack of donation so maybe in the nearest time we can do that again as soon as possible, please if you have something to share, we'd love to accept that, you can see their linktree profile here and their instagram here.
- I met a lot of people with a different background, goals, races, and personality. It's beautiful to see them and talking with them. Yeah, not all of them are nice but when I met the nice one, it'll last forever (I wish). By meeting them it's also open up my mind, I became more tolerable with the differences, respect the differencess and it's made me happy already. new friends means new things to explore.
- I am healthier here!, I joined F45 Seminyak Functional Training here for free (because my clinic had a good relationship with the owner), I lost 3 kgs in 1 month and it's something for me. I ate clean, ate so much veggies and fibres than the carbs, my mood is more stable now (I am a moody person haha). I also doing yoga and meditation for calming my mind too, so physically isn't enough, mental and mind is important too.
There are so many things actually in my mind, but that's it!
I will write a post again soon.
